Correcting the

modem detection

failure

In some PC configurations, the DIRECWAY

software cannot detect the installed telephone

modem and you will receive an error message as

shown in Figure 77. If this error message is

displayed, click OK. and follow the steps below

1. The Dialup tab of the Turbo Internet

Properties screen will open. The modem listed

is not being properly detected, even though the

correct modem may be listed in the field as

shown in Figure 78.
